![]() D cards always have a base cost 30 points, which lowers by 5 for each higher level, with a base of 10 for those with a star for their CP stat. Each level, ranging from D to a star (with no + levels), costs a set number of points, with an additional cost based on the card number. One-Winged Angel is unique in that it adds a bonus of 4 instead of one, making it by far the most powerful finisher card.ĬP affects how much a card cast and thus how many total you can put in your deck. Finishers are unique in that they always deal +1 extra damage, meaning a star with a power of normally 8 will instead have 9. When it comes to the strike, thrust, and combo finish stats, the level D can be assumed to be 1, with each incremental level adding 1 power, culminating in 8 for those with a star. For example, Oblivion has a combo finish of D, but a strike and thrust of A, making it terrible when used as the finisher. Because of the way card damage is affected by their stat, actual damage output can vary wildly when the right card is used in the wrong place. The break recovery stat also does not have D or + levels, with a C lasting 117 milliseconds, which is lowered by 17 milliseconds by every level.Ĭards when used in a normal attack combo always perform three hits, a wide strike, a forwards thrust, and a combo finisher. Note that cards show a general attack level when building a deck, which is based on their total average, and is a poor indicator of their true use in combos. Stats are indicated with a limit of eight possible levels, ranging from D, D+, C, C+, B, B+, A, and finally a star (☆). Elements deal either more or less damage based on enemy vulnerabilities and resistances, varying between 50% more or less damage. Cards also have an element, typically physical, with a few outliers such as neutral, fire, ice, and lightning. Similarly break recovery (also called CB recovery) affects how long you have to wait before you can act if you get a card break. Chain of Memories also has an additional swing speed stat, which simply affects how fast Sora will attack. All cards used in sleights will not be available for reload after use and will disappear until the next battle.Īll of Sora's Attack Cards posses their own attributes strike, thrust, combo finish, and break recovery, along with a required Card Point (CP). They can be used either on their own or in Sleights with other Attack, Magic, or Friend cards. If the cards played are equal numbers then both cards will break. Cards with a 0 value will break all enemy cards in play, but if the enemy deals any card while a 0 card is in play then the 0 card will break. Each card is numbered 0-9 the higher the number, the more successful the attacks will be. Sora can also use a special version of the Kingdom Key during the Bumble-Rumble mini-game.Īttack Cards are typically obtained from the Key to Rewards and Bounty rooms, but can also be earned as rewards for defeating bosses and bought at the Moogle Shop. During the battle with Zexion, Zexion can steal Riku's Attack Cards and replace them with fake versions of the Soul Eater. In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, two sets of non-regular Attack Cards can be used by both Sora and Riku. In the 1.5 ReMIX re-release of Re:Chain of Memories, four of those Attack Cards were removed and replaced with four of the Keyblades that Roxas wields in 358/2 Days. Re:Chain of Memories added six additional Attack Cards based on Keyblades that Sora obtained in Kingdom Hearts II, which can be obtained as game completion bonuses. Also included are two Keyblades that were introduced in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix: Diamond Dust and One-Winged Angel. They represent the Keyblades used by Sora (and Soul Eater for Riku) in Kingdom Hearts the only Keyblade missing is the "Jungle King", its absence unexplained. Attack Cards are identified by their red borders. Sora and Riku use Attack Cards to perform normal attacks, or combine with other cards to perform sleights. ![]() Attack Cards are part of the set of cards used for gameplay in Chain of Memories and Re:Chain of Memories. ![]()
